According to three Fox News polls released Thursday, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden leads President Trump in Nevada and Pennsylvania. Biden leads Trump 52 percent to 41 percent in Nevada and 51 to 44 percent in Pennsylvania. According to a poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College, Trump is on the defensive in Iowa, Georgia, and Texas, three red states he carried in 2016. 

According to new ABC News/Washington Post polls in Florida, Arizona, and Georgia, President Trump holds an edge over Biden. Surveys also illustrate that the national economy remains Trump’s strongest issue, and it helps him overcome voters’ disapproval of his handling of the coronavirus outbreak

On Thursday, President Trump resumed questioning the integrity of this year’s election after the White House walked back his earlier comments suggesting he would not accept the results if he were to lose. Trump’s initial remarks brought on a slew of criticism, including from Republicans.

Cindy McCain, the widow of John McCain endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden for president. She tweeted, “We are Republicans, yes, but Americans foremost. There’s only one candidate in this race who stands up for our values as a nation, and that is @JoeBiden.”

A Quinnipiac University poll shows 50 percent of likely voters polled in Texas support Trump and 45 percent support Biden. In Ohio, the poll found that  48 percent support Biden while 47 percent support Trump
