In the past week, three high-profile Democrats endorsed Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign. 

Sens. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and former President Barack Obama—under whom Biden served as vice president—announced their support for Biden as the former veep is likely set to square-off with President Trump in the general election in November.

After delaying her endorsement for several weeks, Warren is the latest ex-presidential candidate to endorse Biden.  

“Joe Biden has spent nearly his entire life in public service. He knows that a government run with integrity, competence, and heart will save lives and save livelihoods,” Warren said in a video announcement. 

Unlike Warren, Sen. Sanders endorsed Biden only days after announcing the end of his presidential campaign. 

President Trump unveiled guidelines for states to reopen in three stages, but public health officials say these guidelines fall short.
