A recent public poll found that President Joe Biden’s approval ratings hit another new low of just 31% support. While left-leaning articles focus on the little support for Biden, right-leaning articles compare and contrast Biden and Trump’s approval ratings.

A left-leaning article from CNBC highlighted how President Biden has the lowest approval ratings than at any point in his presidency. Despite poor approval ratings for Biden, the article noted a dead tie in support for which party should control the Senate.

NPR published a centrist article reporting on how the drop in Biden’s approval ratings largely resulted from Democrats, especially young voters and progressives. 75% of Democrats approve of Biden, considered low for a president’s own party and a number that Donald Trump never dropped to even after the January 6th Capitol attack. The article also discusses the difficulties that Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) has caused Biden.

A right-leaning article from Fox News highlighted how more than 70% of people polled do not support a Biden 2024 re-election bid, compared to 60% of people who felt the same about former President Donald Trump. While neither Biden nor Trump garnered much backing, Trump maintained the support of his base and Biden did not. The article also noted the unprecedented disapproval of the Supreme Court.
