According to recent polls, Biden has extended his lead in battleground states such as Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. While left-leaning articles highlight that this year, a Democrat could win a seat in Georgia, right-leaning articles highlight that Biden spoke to supporter in Pennsylvania and took aim at Trump.

The New York Times published a left-leaning article highlighting that although state House District 119 was a safely Republican state in the Georgia Legislature for years, this year, Jonathan Wallace, a Democrat, could win it. The article notes that Charles S. Bullock III, a political scientist at the University of Georgia, said that Georgia, along with Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida and Texas, are part of the “Growth South” as opposed to the “Stagnant South.”

USA Today published a centrist article reporting that according to a poll released Monday by the Elections Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Joe Biden leads Trump 53%-44% in a survey of 647 likely voters in Wisconsin October 13 to 21, which is a bigger lead than Biden had in September. The poll also found that Biden extended his lead in Pennsylvania from 4 to 8 points and in Michigan from 6 to 10 points.

Fox News published a right-leaning article reporting that Biden spoke to supporters at a voter service center in Chester, Pennsylvania, where he took aim at Trump over the president's handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Biden also said that he thinks he will win battlegrounds such as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
