On Monday, Biden suggested that the president is intentionally trying to increase divisions and is in league with violent protests in Kenosha and Portland. While left-leaning articles highlight that in Trump’s speech on Monday, he made a number of false claims, right-leaning articles highlight that the American people don’t believe that violence in Democratic-run cities is Trump’s fault.
A left-leaning article by CNN highlights that in Trump’s speech on Monday, he made a number of claims that were clearly false or misleading. Trump falsely claimed that during Biden’s speech he blamed the police and also falsely claimed that the city of Portland is “ablaze all the time.”
