Biden Touts Jobs Report US Economy, Adds Almost 1 Million Jobs

The U.S. economy added almost 1 million jobs in March. While left-leaning articles highlight that the U.S. economy’s recovery from the pandemic was much better than predicted by economists, right-leaning articles highlight that U.S. Labor Secretary Marty Walsh said he is “encouraged” by Friday’s jobs report, but also acknowledged that America still has “a long way to go.”

A left-leaning article by CNN highlights that the U.S. economy’s recovery from the pandemic strengthened in March, as the gain was much better than predicted by economists. State and local education jobs also rose by 126,000 as schools started to reopen.
