While left-leaning articles highlight that Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination for governor in 2022, right-leaning articles highlight that Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, a longtime Democratic foe of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, announced she is running for governor.
