In a personal essay published on Medium.com on Wednesday, Lindsey Boylan, a former aide to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, detailed sexual harassment allegations against the state leader. While left-leaning articles highlight that Boylan’s allegations come as Cuomo has faced accusations of “bullying” and verbal threats from fellow New York lawmakers, right-leaning articles highlight that three major broadcast networks joined CNN and MSNBC in avoiding mention of sexual harassment claims against Cuomo during their evening news programs.

A left-leaning article by Intelligencer highlights that Boylan’s allegations come as Cuomo has faced accusations of “bullying” and verbal threats from fellow New York lawmakers. Cuomo responded to Boylan’s claims by saying they  are “quite simply false.”

Newsweek published a centrist article reporting that Boylan is leading a Democratic campaign for Manhattan borough president. In an essay, she recounted an instance where Cuomo allegedly kissed her as she attempted to leave his office after a meeting.

 A right-leaning article by Fox News highlights that on Wednesday, three major broadcast networks joined CNN and MSNBC in avoiding mention of sexual harassment claims against Cuomo during their evening news programs. The governor’s office denied Boylan’s claims, calling them “simply false.”
