Voters Head to the Polls in Four States

 

We ran the numbers: There are 3463 news articles covering this topic. 40% (1402) are left leaning, 34% (1168) are center, and 26% (893) are right leaning.

Voters are going to the polls to decide hotly contested races in Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia. While left-leaning articles highlight that it’s becoming increasingly obvious that Trump’s influence within the Republican Party is waning, right-leaning articles highlight that former President Donald Trump has blamed Kemp in part for his 2020 loss to Joe Biden.

Newsweek published a centrist article reporting that Trump’s hand-picked challengers were unable to topple Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton won his primary runoff  against state land commissioner George P. Bush.

A right-leaning article by New York Post highlights that former President Donald Trump has blamed Kemp in part for his 2020 loss to Joe Biden. Meanwhile, Trump-backed former Sen. David Perdue would be the third Trump gubernatorial endorsement to lose a Republican primary this year.
