As the November general election approaches, former Vice President Joe Biden and President Trump continue to spar on who is predicted to win. While left-leaning articles highlight that both Trump and Biden voters are motivated by Trump, right-leaning articles highlight that Trump praised June’s jobs report.

A left-leaning article by The Washington Post highlights that a recent New York Times/Siena College battleground state poll found that both Trump and Biden voters are motivated by President Trump, whether it’s keeping him in office, or voting him out. Biden’s camp has appeared content allowing the campaign to unfold without much attention falling on Biden, as the focus is more centered on ousting Trump.

Newsweek published a centrist article reporting that according to a survey from Monmouth University, Biden has widened his lead over President Trump, with 53 percent of respondents saying they would vote for Biden if the presidential election were held today, while 41% sided with Trump. The poll also found that Americans are more confident in Biden’s “mental and physical stamina” than that of Trump.

A right-leaning article by Fox News highlights that President Trump wasted no time in praising June’s jobs report as “history.” However, Biden claimed that a million more Americans “would still have their job if Donald Trump had done his job.”
