Former Vice President Joe Biden is poised to make his vice-presidential pick. While left-leaning articles highlight that Biden is expected to announce his decision on Wednesday, right-leaning articles highlight that Susan Rice and her husband have poured thousands of dollars into Biden’s presidential campaign.

A left-leaning article by The New York Times highlights Biden’s political team has prepared rollout plans for several finalists and is expected to announce his decision on Wednesday. Biden’s campaign accelerated its vice-presidential planning this weekend, sending emails and texts urging supporters to sign up for “the first grass-roots fund-raiser with the next President and Vice President of the United States.”

The Hill published a centrist article reporting that with a half-dozen women seen as top contenders for the post, Senator Kamala Harris remains the favorite to get the nod. However, Biden might also pick someone such as former national security adviser Susan Rice, whom he worked closely with in the Obama administration.

A right-leaning article by Fox News highlights that Susan Rice and her husband have poured thousands of dollars into Biden’s presidential campaign, increasing their contributions as Rice was floated as a potential running mate. Rice’s husband, former ABC News producer Ian Cameron, cut a $5,600 check to the Biden Victory Fund two days before CNN reported that Rice was among eight women who had met with the campaign.
