President Biden backtracked from his directive issued early Friday, where the administration announced it would leave the cap on refugees at 15,00 a record-low ceiling set by President Donald Trump. While left-leaning articles highlight that Biden would actually set the final cap by May 15, right-leaning articles highlight that during Biden’s campaign, he pledged to raise former President Donald Trump’s cap of 15,000.
