While left-leaning articles highlight that it has become evident that some corners of the mainstream media overcorrected to a theory from Trump and his allies that the coronavirus emanated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, right-leaning articles highlight that this time last year, the mainstream media largely dismissed the Wuhan coronavirus lab leak theory as a “fringe.”
A left-leaning article by The Washington Post highlights that it has become evident that some corners of the mainstream media overcorrected to a theory from Trump and his allies that the coronavirus emanated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. USA Today published a centrist article reporting that the finding has prompted questions into the origins of COVID-19. The report added new information on the details of the timing that the employees were hospitalized.
