Florida Gov. DeSantis Signs Law to Hold Big Tech Companies Accountable for Content Moderation

On Monday, Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill that seeks to punish social media platforms that remove “conservative ideas” from their sites. A right-leaning article by Fox News highlights that the Big Tech Bill, as DeSantis calls it, will ensure companies are more transparent about their content moderation practices. DeSantis has been critical of what he views as censorship engaged in by the largest technology companies.
