After Tuesday night’s contentious debate, President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are back on the campaign trail. While left-leaning articles highlight Biden embarked on a train tour to Ohio and Pennsylvania, right-leaning articles highlight that Trump told a campaign rally in Minnesota that he defeated Biden in the first debate.

A left-leaning article by The New York Times highlights that Biden embarked on an old-fashioned train tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania, putting Trump on the defensive by casting him as a president who abandoned the working Americans who elected him. According to a recent New York Times/Siena College poll, Biden has a nine-point edge in Pennsylvania, while polling neck-and-neck with the president in Ohio.

A centrist article by NPR reports that while Biden went on a train tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania, President Trump held a rally in northern Minnesota. President Trump praised himself on the trail, while the goal of Biden’s trip was to speak to the white, working-class voters in Pennsylvania and Ohio, many of them who are in union households who defected to Trump.

A right-leaning article by New York Post highlights that on Wednesday, Trump told a large campaign rally in Duluth, Minnesota that he defeated Biden during the first presidential debate. Trump also echoed his inquiries about Biden’s son Hunter’s business dealing in China and Ukraine.
