On Wednesday, former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign and joint committees outraised President Trump by $10 million. While left-leaning articles highlight that Biden has pursued an aggressive fundraising schedule recently, right-leaning articles highlight that Trump’s fundraising ventures are proof that American voters are supportive of him.

The Washington Post published a left-leaning article highlighting that both the Trump and Biden campaigns’ fundraising vastly exceeds the amount of money raised in a corresponding stretch by President Barack Obama. Biden has pursued an aggressive fundraising schedule recently, as he has held multiple virtual fundraising events each week and had big-ticket fundraisers in June, including one with Senator Elizabeth Warren.

The Hill published a centrist article reporting that Biden’s fundraising total marked the second consecutive month the presumptive Democratic nominee outraised the president’s campaign. The Biden campaign also listed educators as the most common donor occupation.

A right-leaning article by Fox News highlights that President Trump’s reelection campaign, the Republican National Committee, and joint fundraising ventures announced they raised $131 million in June. RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said that these numbers are proof that the majority of American voters are supportive of Trump.
